Contact your bank or any company that sends you bills or that you currently make regular payments to. The best way to do so is likely through their website, though some companies include paper enrollment forms in the monthly billing statement.
Follow their enrollment instructions. Most companies that allow you to pay electronically also offer you the option to receive your bills and paper statements electronically as well!
If you come across a company that doesn’t offer electronic payments and/or billing, you can still let them know that you are interested in this service. Tell them that you read about the environmental benefits of electronic payments statements and bills at the PayItGreen website and want to make the switch.
*Please note, PayItGreen is a consumer education program. You must contact the financial institutions and/or the businesses you make payments to directly and follow their instructions to make the switch from paper to electronic.
