About the PayItGreen Seal of Approval

Meaningful environmental programs are important to your customers. Want to do more than simply tell them how you’re contributing to a positive environmental change? Why not show them!

The PayItGreen Seal of Approval recognizes organizations for
excellence in removing paper from the process of statements,
payments, and bills. Businesses and financial institutions awarded
the PayItGreen Seal of Approval have met specific criteria in their
commitment to removing paper from the financial industry, and by
doing so, have made a positive environmental impact. The Seal provides third-party acknowledgement of the achievements of the organization.

The Seal is offered exclusively through PayItGreen Member Distributors. The Member Distributor is responsible for processing the request for the Seal. If the applying organization meets the criteria outlined in the survey, the Member Distributor will provide the PayItGreen Seal of Approval for the organization to use.

The Survey

The PayItGreen Seal of Approval online survey evaluates a company’s use and enablement of electronic financial solutions such as Direct Deposit, Direct Payment, and eBills. Applicants are scored on their responses to a series of questions designed to examine the scope of the organization’s electronic billing and payment progress. Applicants’ scores are tabulated immediately, and the company is notified in real time if its application has been approved.

How do I get started?

Getting started is easy. Simply choose a Member Distributor and go to their Seal of Approval page (see the link below for the list of Member Distributors). Through the Member Distributor page you will take the online survey. If you’re approved and meet the Member Distributors criteria for activation you can display the Seal of Approval to validate your company’s efforts to customers, peers and your industry.
